My name is Marlys and I am a blogger!
It's only been up a few days though I'd been working on it at least a week. I'd sit down to write and my mind went blank. Lisa of Twin Cubs was kind and generous enough to help me get started. And not only that, she created a beautiful graphic for me and listed everyone's blog link.
Thanks to you all for the nudge into the world of the blog.
Hi Marly, I´m Gaby and I have zero knowledge about a blog, so you and the ladies who blog are heroes to me!
Gaby
Gaby, it is so easy to do, I was shocked, believe me if I can do it anyone can do it, thats not to say some really talented people on here, go above and beyond, there are some that are amazing, but the basic blog is so much fun to do it, you should give it a try.
Hugs
Jodi
Marlys your children are beautiful!!!!!
Jodi, thanx for your supporting words  ...I just wonder....what I could write in there....and, probably most important: WHEN? ;)
I need to go see your blog as well!!
Thanx
Gaby
Aww, thanks Marlys. I'm glad you're enjoying it. I just try to help out when I can!!!
Jodi, these words from your blog are just absolutely fabulous :
Winnie the Pooh

Gaby
Marlys, you started out very well! I´m curious as to what there is to come :)
Gaby
Your blog is looking great Marlys!! You have gorgeous children!!!
I am so enjoying blogging aswell!!! I love reading other people's blogs. I am so glad that there was so much enthusiasm here on TT, and I decided to give it a go. I'm lovin' it!!!!
I know isn't that winnie the pooh quote the best.
It's funny because I have a non bear blog that I have so my son, when he is away at college, can still see whats happening here at home on a day to day basis. I titled it "Call your Mother" and the subtitle is: "she won't be around forever"
That one I write in when he is at school, daily, it's funny because I have found out several of his friends that hung out at our house read it everynight too. I always end it: goodnight and I love you, Mom
Marlys,
Your blog looks wonderful...I'll be adding you to my ever growing list on my own blog...WELCOME. It's kind of fun isn't it?
Your children are beautiful...they grow up so fast...sigh!!
Hugs,
Shantell
Thanks everyone.
Lisa, don't down play your you help. You were tremendously patient and generous with your time, even with potty training and a goldfish blizzard.
Gaby, you can do it, too. And, as I found, you just need to get started, then you seem to have lots to say. I hope to get some pictures of my bears up regularly. I recently purchased Photoshop Elements 5 and I'm trying to learn it. And I can't seem to delete the pics from my camera's memory card.
Jodi, I saw your blog the other day. Now I'm very aware of everyone's "blog" link under their avatar. I love your Winnie the Pooh quotes, too. And that little "Happy Bear" you posted today is just adorable. He's a really happy looking little guy.
I love that you have a blog for your son...Call Your Mother    I say the same thing to Joseph. When I haven't heard from him for a while, I send a text message on his phone with those exact words. How great that his your son's friends read it, too. You must have been a favorite mom among his group of friends.
Samantha, thank you. I've also been checking in on your blog. You and your mother look so much alike and I love your little bears. They all look so sweet.
Shantell, it's lots of fun. It was especially nice to be able to write a note about my daughter's graduation since I wasn't able to be there today.
Thank you all for your comments about my kids. I love them dearly and they do grow up too fast. Allyn and I have always had a close relationship with our kids and I am so grateful for that having myself grown up without such a relationship with my parents.
Thanks again to all who nudged me on.
I too love all the blogs, they really give you a feel for who the artists are.
You know it's funny I thought no one was reading my "call your mother" blog because the kids weren't leaving comments, but one day he mentioned something that I had wrote and one of his friends did the same a couple months later, and it was so fun to know they read it. Another time I asked my son if he had seen something I wrote on there and my son goes :" hmmm no I haven't seen your blog in a while." then his girlfriend goes "thats not true he reads it almost every night." then my son laughs and says "yeah I do"
I think also it's great for families that are spread all over the US to stay in touch, without big phone bills.
Hugs
Jodi
