Hi all,

I was just wondering what other people think is the best time to list an auction?  Do you always list auctions on the same day of the week? Do you find a certain day/time is more successful for the auction's end in terms of last minute bidders?  I rarely get bids/visitors at the end of my auctions - so I just thought I'd ask.

I tend to list at all times but make sure it runs over a weekend as I'm guessing that's when people have the most time to look...

I am one who truly believes that when it comes to auction times..... consistency is best.  My auctions always end between 5pm and 5:30 pm on the West Coast (eBay time)  that's 8 pm 8:30 pm here in Ohio... and always on Sunday evening.  Whether I list as a 7 day, a 5 day or a 3 day... that's when they always end.  If someone is interested in catching one of my bears they know they can pop on their computer right around that time, and if I have something listed, they have a good shot at bidding on her.  No matter what end time or end day you select, I think consistency is the key.   bear_thumb

Thanks for your opinion Kim :)

I always try to list auctions that will end at a convenient time for US bidders (as 98% of my customers are american), BUT it's not always easy and sometimes I stuff up the times.  I often get emails from people saying they had planned to bid at the end but they couldn't be on the computer that early in the morning, or that late at night etc.....
