Hello all, I'm new here!
He's not much of a teddy bear, but I love him anyway. He was part of a 60's contest for cdhm. The story book, "Where the Wild Things Are", gave me hope as a child. Being a "wild thing" myself, this story made me think that, in the end, I might still have hot supper waiting for me too. I intended to sell little Maurice, named after the author. But, he's been on my studio shelf for two weeks now. I can't part with him. His silly expression makes me happy. I can't explain why. His eyes, horns, claws, and teeth are painted with black light paint, a 60s fad. Take a peek!
Hugs, Sharon
