Hi everyone
I am thinking about using a credit card service. I do about 15 shows a year and i do get caught on loosing a sale.
What are some of the service that your artist use?
Any suggestion would be great.

Connie, I use ProPay. Easy and online. www.propay.com
HI Connie, I use propay too and I'm happy with it.
I went through my local Chamber of Commerce, who were able to recommend a good company. The fees wound up being similar to PayPal's (which we also accept), so not too bad at all.

Are you a Chase bank user? I use Paymentech through them.
I quickly checked Propay against Paymentech to see any differences.
Propay sets limits on the amaximum amount that can be accepted monthly. Going over a set amount would need the next level up of accounts.
P'tech accepts any amount.
There is an annual fee for Propay: Does one month of higher sales bump you up automatically for the next higher annual fee for that calendar year?
I pay no annual fee but $7.50 monthly, no matter if I have zero sales or $10,000 in sales each month (I can dream!!)
The basic $40 plan with Propay accepts VISA & MC but you need the next level for more card brands.
I can accept those on my P'tech plan.
I'd change if it was worth it but I think they come out about even.
Any others use a different service?
Thanks ladys for your suggestion. I'll be checking into those credit cards service. Hate to loose those sales if i only accept checks or cash.
Hugs to you all
