Another milestone...my third and youngest child passed his driver's test today.   I sat there in the DMV on pins & needles...I could hardly contain myself.  When the testing official came in and shook my hand and said 'congratulations Mom, your son did a fantastic job" I almost fainted with relief.

And...then on the way home I realized...all my children are now licensed drivers....EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!

I can see the wrinkles and feel the grey hairs forming as I type!!!

Should we stay off the sidewalks when in Willamette Valley?

Congratulations to both of you... perhaps gray on your head and wrinkles on your face look good on you? bear_grin  Some consider that a very distinguished look!

Shantell, just wait until your kids get to be middle aged . . . THEN you will feel old, my friend.

Wow Shantell.  I can feel the wrinkles and see the gray hairs forming as I type too and mine are still in diapers.  By the time all three of mine have their drivers licenses the situation will be reversed and I'll be the one in diapers...Depends for Adults!

Well, look on the bright side....more kids to help you with the errands. Send them off to do the grocery shopping and you can stay home and work on your teddy bears.

I have more sewing time since my daughter started driving.

Time flies! It seems like just yesterday when we were pushing them in strollers, doesn't it?

Shantell, you'll really know you're getting old when you start lying about your childrens' ages, like my mom does.  (She's 78, kids 54, 52 & 49)

I was so happy when my kids got their licenses because I was so tired of hauling them around to soccer, softball, swim, basketball practices, voice lessons, dance lessons, clarinet lessons, play rehearsals, etc, etc, etc.  What a relief it was when Tracy got her license to drive herself and Paige around ! ! !

I know Shantell, you forget how old you are as you don't ever feel different and then these milestones come with our kids just to remind us!  Its great that he passed though.

My stepson just got his license the other day too, and even though my biological sons aren't near that just yet, I felt antique suddenly as well.  But it is nice that they can get around on their own!
