As of 7:45 AM... a girl, 6 lb 10 oz. She was 1 mth early but everything is fine and we're all back at the house getting to know our new daughter/granddaughter. No name as of yet but hopefully they'll come up with something soon. I'll add pics shortly!
I had planned to spend this weekend sewing. I had rented a bunch of movies and told my husband that since no one was visiting I was going to sew to get some bears ready for Penny's show the end of the month. So much for that plan - instead we jumped in the car this morning and drove 5 hours to get to Waterloo and meet our new granddaughter.

MerBear OriginalsShe is my FIRST grandchild! I've been waiting a very long time for her with my biological clock just ticking away. My two daughters are in their thirties and have shown no interest in providing for my old age. My son just turned thirty and finally he and his lovely wife did the right thing, and she had such an easy time she's already stating there will be more in the future! I love that girl.
Her name is Asha Eva - Eva after my Mom who died 3 years ago.
