This piece is for the Doll and Teddy Bear Expo this coming August. Our theme to work with as exhibitors is "Happily Ever After." I found this darling pumpkin coach several years ago and just hung onto it hoping an opportunity would come and this years event seemed like the perfect time to create something really special. So I made this Fairy Godmother to go with it and will be adding a "Poor Cindy" hopefully sometime soon (and maybe even some mice). Anyway, the piece is called "Waiting on Cindy."
The Fairy Godmother herself measures 6 inches, is made of a 3/8 inch ratty, baby blue mohair, is 5-way jointed, wears a stunning ball gown, a silver crown, a pair of pearls and carries her trusty wand. Wishing you many "Happily Ever Afters..."
She's adorable, Lisa, and the set is perfect. What a great find, that coach was. Just love the head shape you're getting on these little ones. Keep that pattern!!!
