beastiewaveweb.jpgI made this hideous Beastie as either just a Troll or maybe to be paired with a Beauty for a Beauty and the Beastie type thing at Expo.  I know he's not very easy on the eyes but the big smile on his face will melt your heart.  Hopefully, it will melt the Beauty's heart as well because the theme is "Happily Ever After."  Anyway, meet "The Beastie."

The Beastie measures 8 inches, is made of a 1-inch feather mohair that has been over-dyed and distressed, is 4-way jointed, has hand painted eyes backed with felt that has been accented with embroidery stitches, a big toothy felt grin and felt paw pads all outlined with embroidery,  He doesn't want to eat you.  He just wants to be your "Beast" friend!

I agree with Chrissi about the Where the Wild Things Are. Beastie would be totally at home in that story. And, of course, I am always impressed with your imagination; you create so many different styles. And Beastie is about the cutest beastie I've ever seen.

Thanks guys!  I'm pretty much set now on pairing him with a Beauty for a Beauty and the Beastie set but I think I'll offer them separately at the show.  Oh, and I found the cutest thing.  A miniature "Dating for Dummies" book that the Beastie can hold!
