Dear Teddy Talkers...a little girl needs her bear....or one like it!
I'm not a regular here, so I hope that it is ok to post this note...
A lady emailed me the attached email, but I could not help her...She sent me pics of her little girl and her bear and she looks so sweet. I offered to post her note on this forum in hopes that some one could take on this project.....Thank you!!!!

Hi.  My name is Adrienne  & I found your web-site through a web-search on yahoo.  My 3 year old daughter – Abby – lost her bear on Thursday evening at a fair we went to - - we didn’t discover she was gone until we were getting ready for bed - - Abby cried herself to sleep.  Despite many ‘bear hunts’ and e-mails to friends and family looking for a ‘bear double’ we are coming up empty.

I am attaching a Word document with pictures of my daughter with her bear – I don’t know how well you can see her – but, what I am wondering is, do you think that you could make a bear to look similar to bear?  Bear is Abby’s best friend and I know a replacement will not be ‘Bear’ but, it will hopefully help ease Abby’s pain of losing her best friend.  Bear was very cushy & pretty floppy – Abby often used her as a pillow at night.
Thank you for your consideration – I appreciate your time.
Adrienne B.

Hi there!  By all means, do upload a picture... If you can't figure out how to do it, I'm sure one of the advisors will be more than happy to help.  or, forward the eMail and pic to me at :

wildthymeorig@aol.com

and I'll upload it here.  Last summer the Teddy Talkers had a similar request from a soldier who was looking for info on HIS childhood teddy so that he couple try to purchase one for his child.  By looking at the pictures, I recognized it as my brothers childhood friend, and we were able to find the same bear on eBay for him!   bear_thumb

This very forum is probably one of the most highly concentrated teddy lovin' groups out there... I do hope one of us can recognize the little girl's teddy!

Cat,
Thank you!  Posting a picture is one of the two things I can do on the computer bear_original  I just feel so sad for her losing her Bear bear_cry
I love seeing your creations...and looking at your real rats! I have kept at least one pet rat since I was a little girl. My last rat "Opie" looked like a siamese cat! He passed a year ago....I may look for a baby or rescue rat soon. They are wonderful company!
