I just got in from a late night viewing of the new Harry Potter - it was wonderful, but it's really not so much of a kids movie anymore - quite dark and scarey. My daughter and I jumped a few times and covered our eyes LOL! I really enjoyed this one though.

Brenda
 I'm looking forward to seeing it myself I'm glad it has a few scary bits heheheh
I saw Oceans 13 last week. Not bad. great perving was had by all. Meaning the George and Brad hotties.heheheheh

If you can find 'BOYTOWN' on DVD, it is worth getting. It is a fun Aussie comedy. Its one of my favourites now.hahah
cheers WEndy
I am going to see it soon, and I cannot wait. I am not going the first weekend it is out. Way to many people and noisy with all the kids in the cinema. Scary bits!! Great, I am taking my sister. She will get scared, hehehe.
Just got back from the 10am showing on the first day it is out at my local cinema (I'm not obsessed - I promise!!! ) Its a super film. I agree - very dark and intense. I jumped a couple of times aswell!! I always feel a bit sad when I know the books so well and they have to miss out some of my favourite sub-plots, but thats Hollywood I guess!!!! Highly recommended!!!
Awesome, thank you!!!!
I can't wait!
I'm joining the modern age! I found out that I could get tickets, online, even for my little country movie house! I knew I wouldn't be able to get there in time to get the few available tickets, 6:50 Friday night. It's a small movie house and Harry Potter is no where else in traveling distance to our little town. I'm going to make a night of it  Movie, dinner at a local Inn, out under the stars. I'm really excited! (I guess you can tell, I don't get out much. Usually I'm working seven days a week. But the flip side is I'm easy to please )

We are really fortunate - there are two movie theatres near us - one is less than 3 miles away. It's not used all that much and last night it was only 2/3 full, even on the opening day, although we did go to the 10:30 p.m. showing. We also find the smaller theatre doesn't have the sound up so loud, it's deafening. All the Harry Potter fans will enjoy this one.

My two boys and I just got back from seeing the Harry Potter movie and we all thought it was great. There is a new theater in the town that we live in and it is just amazing. It has 16 separate theaters including 2 ultra screens, an italian restaurant, a chocolate shop and even baby sitting. It was a lot of fun, but as you can imagine a bit pricey. We won't be doing that real often.

My husband and I brought five boys ages 11 - 17 to see Harry Potter last night, and we all loved it.
It's really fun and interesting to see how they've all grown up; without spoiling any plot points (as if you don't know what's going to happen anyway, because most have read the book!), I think I can safely say that there are a few brief montages of scenes from movies past included in this most recent installment.
All three of the main actors have grown into very handsome young folk -- so pretty to watch! -- and I also think their acting talents, most especially in the case of Harry (Daniel Radcliff), have improved enormously as they've matured.
All in all I just enjoyed myself thoroughly!
Can't wait! I am going to a private showing at IMAX in 3-D!!!
Ack! I can't wait to see it!! I think I am going tomorrow. yay!!
Bear Hugs!

I saw the film last night, it's well worth a visit or two, or three or.. well you've gathered, (I think,) that I enjoyed the film. The young actors are growing up so much. It is amazing too to see how much their acting has blossomed thought the films. There were four screens showing the film last night and all were packed full. It was like a mass exodus when we all left, so much traffic too!
A Question my son asked me this morning: Why are non of the teachers at Hogwarts married?
Ummmmmmmm, never thought of that one before!
Who's looking forwards to the next book and will you be going for the midnight launch?
Hugs Jane.

I am definitely looking forward to the new book, although it will be sad that it is the last one. We are going to collect ours at midnight. As we have reserved a copy, I am looking forward to seeing their face when they ask for our name and we say 'Potter'!!
