Sophie Z'Ours
Here is Bella Dona, my lattest bear.
She is about 42 cm (17 inches) tall.
She is from my baby bear pattern.
I made her from a gorgeous Hembold mohair I bought from Intercal (quality 785V color 4360 Champagne).
She is fully jointed with cotter pin joints.
She has dark topaze English glass eyes. I made her eyelids with Makins clay.
She has ultra suede pads in a camel color.
I embroidered her nose with multicolored thread (half cotton half acrylic).
I scissor sculpted her muzzle.
I added shaddings with Marabu textile paints.
She has a bell in each ear.
I attached a tag to her right leg (Aida ribbon on which I cross-stitched "Sophie Z'Ours" on one side and "Bella Dona" on the other side with golden cotton embroidery thread.
She wears a handmade long colorful skirt which i bordered on the waist with seed beads in matching colours.
I made her a matching necklace with an exotic seed as a pendant.
She left Le Mans today with Carolyn Green and her hubby. They are her new parents.
