I just happened upon this website, by artist Monica Spicer ,that has free online tutorials for eylids, open mouths, noses etc.  Very helpful for visual learners like me, and very generous of her to share her tips.   I thought others may find this helpful too.  bear_thumb

Wow, thanks for sharing your "find" Tammy!  I'm a visual learner too which is why I love taking classes so I can see exactly how it's done!  Going to go check this out now...

Great photo tutorials! I've learned a new way to insert eyes.  bear_original Her nose embroidery technique is interesting....I think I'd have a hard time doing it upside down though. On to read the rest.

I'm going to try her eye  technique and I thought the extra neck idea a bea-u-ty.

I went to her tutorials again this morning and I really, really like the one for the open mouth.  Her open mouth tutorial makes it look much simpler than I've seen it done in some other books.  I might even try it!!!
