How exciting! Sorry, but I have no idea what one wears to a movie premiere.
sounds like cocktail dresses and tuxes are in order.
We just watched the last two Bourne's on Sat to get ready for the next one.

Hi Jane I would go with tux and a little black number, can't go wrong and can be worn again (classy). Have you any dress angencies near you, they tend to get that kind of dress worn once and never again at a fraction of the cost, We just got a debenhams exclusive make for £65 for my daughter to go to her prom, she looked fab and better dressed than the majority who had bought new from TK Maxx, you could try there as well, can't take the credit as it was my mums idea, I was at my wits end, good luck
Jane,
I had a whole lot typed here, before I erroneousely deleted it
Congratulations to Sarah! I think I remember her being pretty, with long blond hair, right?
I browsed the net and found this great site: http://nymag.com/search/fashion-search. … yname=Gown
OK, ok, Galliano or Versace might be a bit too expensive, but just to give you a hint
Jeans are probably not so good, since they are so uniform and make one invisible, and David for sure should not be invisible. So sort of cool, elegant but not overdressed, how about that? Sort of James-Bondish but not too much of a killer
Oh, and my idea would be, that Sarah´s hair is up, that looks very extravagantly.
In any case: :photo: ....but you know that anyway
Gaby
Thanks for the ideas. Sue I like the idea of a tux for David and a little black dress for Sarah.
Gaby thanks for the link to the beautiful gowns. Sarah said at five foot and a half inch tall she feels too short to wear a long gown, so she will want something shorter. The gowns were beautiful though.
I will take some photographs and show you just before they go.
Hugs Jane.
Well like the others, I go with cocktail dress and tux for your hubby. If he does not have a tux, a nice suit would be fine. You could always call the theater that is having the premier and ask discreetly what have people worn for other events like this.
Now you lucky duck enjoy the show....
  how exciting Jane   keep us updated. Tell them we are living precariously through them
Wendy
sounds exciting! hope they have fun!
Hubby and I were on the scene yesterday to watch the opening show in our local theater. Another high action packed flick
Just wondering how your two lucky babies enjoyed it!!! And what did they end up wearing? :photo:
