q.D.paToOtieS
I'm really having a lot of fun making these smaller bears that I've dubbed q.D.paToOtieS and I especially enjoy designing their little outfits. I spend a lot of time searching around quilt stores, antique stores, etc. looking for just the right fabric and accessories. I think you saw this little girl in the making the other day as one of my Blog entries "in the buff." Now she's dressed in a little baby doll sundress with bloomers, a dapper little chapeau and carries her trusty but well loved teddy bear. She stands around 5 inches and her bear measures in around 3 inches. She was originally a baby blue short sparse matted mohair but I dyed her in Black Cherry Kool-Aid to arrive at this purple color.
