I mentioned in an earlier posting, that after creating 'Moonstar' my tribute to the moon bear, at the request of a collector, it seemed a natural progression to try and create a tribute to the sun bear too!  So, here is 'Solly', a 23" teddy bear made from Intercal's lushious alpaca in black and honey.  He's the first of my bears reserved for 'Teddies 2007' in London on 2nd September.  Three weeks to go and only one bear to show ... eeekssss!!!

How lovely to pop in and find your comments!  Thanks for taking the time ... I'm really glad you like him. 

I must admit, there was a point last week when this guy was nearly consigned to the waste bin, but I left him alone overnight and came back to look at him in the morning - then suddenly I could see he was coming together.  Note to self:  in future, bear in mind that working on a bear when your frame of mind isn't good will affect how you perceive your work!
