Wazza Bears AustraliaWhy does it take so long 4 to 5 hours before My auction will show up on Ebay, its only a 3 day auction and half the time its not showing. I see others who have listed about the same time as me and their bears are showing. Its very strange. Does anyone know?

It can take 4-6 hours for the category to cycle and have your auction show up. Doesn't always happen but it has happened to me several times. I know this answer because I have used their live online help and this is the answer I have gotten. My auctions have shown up in the time they said, under 6 hours. Bummer, I know, especially since you have a 3-day.
Wazza Bears AustraliaThanks heap. But i find it bizarre when other auctions show up at the same time you listed it and after, When my auction finally goes up its like about 20th down the list not at the top.
Its just strange.
Yep, same problem intermittenly for me also. I've talked with Live help and they "almost' admitted that this issue might be something that tech support is looking into. They suggested I send an email to them about it.
Creative Design Studio (RKR4CDS)I pre-schedule all of my bear auctions and they show up almost immediately. It's only 10ยข to choose the time.
It must take a certain amount of time to get all of the data into the system. I'm surprised that it's only 20th or so listed from the top, as there are hundreds of thousands of items be uploaded continuously through the day & night 24/7 in this world-wide market.
FenBeary FolkHi Peta , I am having the same problem, I used to list odds and ends directly onto ebay-UK using their template and they listed straight away. Now I am using auctiva and listing in the US and I schedule for a 6.30pm listing (1.30am UK) and find that it takes about 6 hours for the item to actually appear in the catagory but in My Ebay they are there immediately. I had just assumed that as they were from outside the US and I was using a different listing tool it took longer :hug:

I think they are having tech problems.
i am going to try and schedule next time and see what happens
FenBeary FolkGood luck on the listing, I have decided that due to this delay I will list 5 or 7 day auction, I had read that they are doing some changes to various ebay sites so maybe things will settle down :hug:
