Hello all, been looking forward to posting some pictures of Sophie’s visit to our home in Yorkshire, but just got around to it as I have been so busy , I started an afternoon job in an office a little while ago, then I got a wedding cake and then a 21st cake to make and I had some bears to finish (meeting myself coming back at the moment) !!! Hope you enjoy having a look at these. I am sorry but I don’t know how to put writing in between the photos to tell what everything is!!
Sophie and Malko arrived at our home on the Friday evening and we talked lots over dinner and some wine, we also had a bear swap which was really nice, pictures below.
On Saturday we took them out for the day to the Yorkshire Dales, visiting beautiful Bolton Abbey and Settle (a typical Dales village). We then went to the market town of Skipton (gateway to the Yorkshire Dales) where we walked around the shops, the market, looked at the canal boats and then went to the Skipton bear shop, as you can see Sophie had a picture with the largest bear in the shop. We finished by visiting the famous Bizzi Lizzi’s, a fish restaurant in Skipton and had a gorgeous meal. Afterwards we visited Farnhill a high up village where you can get good photos.
Then on Sunday we relaxed a little, talked some more, spent a bit of time in the garden with the bears, whilst Alan and Malko talked non stop about computers etc. Then in the evening we wished them a sad farewell on their journey back to France. A really enjoyable weekend was had by all.

We enjoyed a lot visiting the beautiful Yorkshire Dales.
WE enjoyed even more spending time with you. We just feeled like old friends.
