I popped into Spotlight yesturday to buy some more sewing needles, and my surprise, they stock needle felting supplies. The needles and wool of many colours. Not badly price either.

Yep spoted that a while back. It is merino. It makes for nice overlays. I wouldnt bother with it for needle felted faces. It doesnt felt firm enough. It always feels squashy.  As usual Spotlight yet again gets it only 'half right.'
I know this about the merino because I bought some. After hearing what a professional had to say about it I just had to try it for myself and  She was right.
