I'm flying to Chicago tomorrow to attend my son's graduation from UChicago on Friday. He'll be receiving a graduate degree in Sociology. We're very excited for him. His only problem is that he's been looking for a job for several months and nothing has come up. Any good positive thoughts for his job search would be appreciated.

I know some of you live in the Chicago area and I would love to meet you but we're only going to be there from the 23rd - the 27th...a short trip this time. We plan to be back in early October when he'll be running in the Chicago Marathon, and hopefully, have a little more time. Unfortunately, I don't think the timing coincides with your Schamburg show which I would love to attend since so many of you are going to be there.

I'll be staying at the Fairmont in case anyone would like to call and try to set up a quick cup of coffee or lunch. Otherwise, for sure on my next trip.

Joseph and his friend, Nikki, ran a half marathon a couple of weeks ago. They're running in honor of Nikki's mother, Bonnie, who died a couple of years ago from leukemia.

Joseph and Nikki are great-looking kids, Marlys! Shoot - the Schaumburg show is near the end of October. Surely wish you were going to be there then. Have fun on your two trips - you have good reason to be proud of your son!
