Claude1.jpgClaudehead2.jpgI'm still busy getting my Hugglets show bears ready (feeling the strain now!) and have just completed 22" Claude, a harlequin bear.  I made him from beautiful Schulte mohair in a straight pile, it's so dense and silky!  The black and white parts were made from oddments my sister gave me when she resigned her career as a bear maker, so it was good to put them to use.  I found some handsome 1930's art deco buttons for Claude's body detailing ... I'm definitely developing a bit of a 'thing' for interesting buttons lately!

a very very handsome chap - you are doing amazingly well getting so many of these bears done for the show, you must be exhausted!  Well worth the effort though

Paula, wow he is fantastic, I must make sure I get to you before the show opens to see them all as I think these bears will soon sell and I would miss out seeing them.

He is gorgeous Paula, he has a captivating face and so cuddly looking.  I know what you mean about big bears, I have had one cut out for 3 months and not sewn up, I just keep cutting out smaller ones out, must get around to finishing him/her.  Have a good day at Hugglets.

He is stunning Paula - he looks a bear who really means business.  I love the name Claude - it was my Grandpa's name.
