I have several cats in the works-just started a series. Intercal doesn't carry the cat type eyes and they are backordered at the other supplier. Any suggestions where else I might check? The cats are small so I am looking for 9 & 10 mm.

for my cats, I use the normal round pupil clear glass eyes if that helps you any.

Can you get the round pupil/clear and hand-paint the oval ends on, them paint the rest of the clear as you'd like: blues/glitteries/greens/etc?
Let me check my taxidermy sources.

How would you attach the eyes with no loops?

Bronwen, the teddy bear eyes I bought from Glasseyes all have loops. I think you have been looking at the reptile eyes - they don't have loops.   bear_original

I found the cat eyes - and they have loops on the back too:

Thanks everyone. I had forgotten about glasseyes.com. I might try the idea of painting the iris so that they are a little more oval. The cats I am making are small so I can't do too much. I looked at Karen Lyon's cats and noticed she uses round irises.  As long as it still looks like a cat, that's what matters.
