I cheat and use nancy tilbergs trick.  She draws the leg onto 3 different pieces and cuts them into three so that each piece is overlapping (top of leg to knee, knee to ankle, ankle to foot.) and adds a paper clip (the ones with legs) and then bend them into the shape and draw aound them.  I saw this and thought I could do that on a mini bear . Makes it sooo much easier because if the pattern has a successful straight leg pattern you know it will be right for the bent leg.

Makes it sooo much easier because if the pattern has a successful straight leg pattern you know it will be right for the bent leg.

Wendy, I don't have much luck with the bigger bears.  So I thought I would try smaller bears, in all honesty though this is about as small as I am going to go..  I admire those who can go smaller.
