Our daughter Kel gave birth to the most beautiful, precious little girl (yes, I am biased) - hubby and I became first-time grandparents. What a joyous experience! 
And even better still - I was there for the birth (didn't actually plan beforehand to be in there for the delivery -just turned out that way) and boy, am I glad! What an amazing experience, to help your own child deliver one of their own. I will never forget that moment - I ended up a blubbering mess (along with Chris' mum) and then us super-nans got out the old cameras and started clicking!!!

They were also both there for the birth of my first son (dad wasn't supposed to be but it all happened so quickly in the end!). Mum was NEARLY there for the birth of my second son......she was just the other side of the ambulance doors!!!
Your grandaughter is simply beautiful - cherish her every day...they grow up WAY too quickly (as I'm sure you'll remember from your own experience). You really must be walking on air at the moment..... :hug:
