I was wondering if any of you knew if it's possible to turn a hand-drawn logo into a digital image/logo? If so, how?

Absolutely!  Adobe Illustrator is what I use, but it's expensive and hard to learn without instruction.  It creates very crisp lines (because it's not pixel based, it's vector based.  Vectors are constructed by means of mathematical equations - therefore being infinitely scalable).

There is a free program called Inkscape that can do the same thing, but if you can't be bothered just let me know and I'll convert it for you.  (it's my day job!)  Wont take long at all - most things can be done with a one-click trace feature depending on the kind of look you're after.

EDIT:  I forgot to mention you need to scan it or take a digital photo of it first...in case it wasn't obvious bear_tongue
