I have a shetland pony the same colour as the foal.They are such lovely colours-we call the colour piebald .Brown and white horses are called skewbald.A little bit of extra info there bear_laugh

Coloureds in the US are called pintos (all breeds, coloured) or paints (actual breed http://www.apha.com/breed/index.html) , tobianos, overos, sabinos and others depending on their colour patterns.   bear_wacko

I think this little chap would be classed a tobiano.   bear_wub
