Here is my new anime bear, Candy-Rose.
She is about 10 inches tall.
She is made from 4-5 mm long mohair-viscose fabric in a shiny pink colour.
She is fully jointed with cotter pin joints.
She has amethyst English glass eyes : I painted the back with silver acrylique paint to highlight their colour.
She is filled with German natural wool. I added some plastic pellets in her tummy.
Her paw pads and foot pads are made with dark pink felt.
I embroidered her nose and mouth with multicoloured perle cotton thread in shades of pink.
I added some shades with Marabu textile paints around her eyes, on her ears, around her nose, hands, feet and on her tummy.
She has a tag sewn in her righ leg with "Sophie Z'Ours" written on it.
I made her a hat, a necklace, a pareo, two barley sugar sticks and a bag of sweets.
The two raspberries of her necklace, plus her hat, sweets and barley sugar sticks are handmade by myself with FIMO polymer clay.
I made her removable pareo with a fringe lace.
The green beads of her necklace and on the bag are wooden beads which I handpainted with acrylic paints.
Her necklace is made with some leither lace on which I added the beads and attached a clasp.
The bag containing her sweets is made from fancy organza which is closed with perle cotton.
Candy-Rose may be my last anime bear from that pattern as this pattern is not my favourite...
Hi Sophie, What a cutie she looks great! She reminds me of a candy ballerina, somehow I feel the need to eat sweets suddenly! Is a barley suger stick like a candy cane?
I hope all is well on your end!
Hugs, Duff
OH Sophie she is delicious! And her nose is totally delectable.
You have really succeeded with this one. She is a wonderfully precious ensemble.
