This weekend in Schaumburg IL is the Chicago Toy & Game Fair. I found out about it when I was surfing some of my favorite artists' websites and saw the link on their page (Art Rogers - http://www.chathamvillagebears.com/)
I will be going later today... but finally got around to surfing their site and discovered that ABC Unlimited Productions has a booth at this show which includes Art's bears, and also 8 other artists including Jared :)
The exhibitor rates are very high - over $2000 - and if I read it correctly, you have to pay the workmen to do all the set up - you can't do it yourself (Chicago is a BIG union town) , plus you pay for tables, skirting, trashcans,.... I'm surprised they don't charge them for the air to breathe
How cool that ABC assembled this group of artists together to get artist teddy bears out into the mainstream!
Edited to add: Was just checking out some of the "extras' you can add to your booth... if you choose their largest booth display... it's only an extra $12,000!
Here's the link to the Fair in case you are in the CHicago area today or tomorrow:

Being a vendor at the Barrett-Jackson auction in Scottsdale, AZ for 7 days would be a heck of a lot cheaper!!!!!
But.... yes.... Awesome that Connie and Amber of ABC are getting the word out.... THANK YOU, LADIES!!!
And Laura, take pictures and give us a full report!!!
Thats what Toy Fair in NY is like and to a lesser extent, IDEX..... Toy Fair used to charge you something like $20-30 to HIRE a little wastepaper bin- HIRE! you didn't even get to keep it (and that was quite a few years back)
You were supposed to hire someone to do everything, right down to plug in your lights which had of course had all sorts of regulations as well. The rules and regulations were very intimidating the first time you went!
