Hi All, Sandi encouraged me to put my cat here in the needlefelting section. I am still fumbling and learning my way around here and am happy to see a needlefelting section! I have been needlefelting for about 5 years now and have learned a lot through trial and error! Here is Ginger....

What a darling cat! I have just started needlefelting, you give me something to work towards. I really want to be able to do dogs, cats etc.

Question - How did you get the color for the stripes? Is it a separate color of wool, or did you color in the stripes after the cat was finished? Hope that makes sense.

Chloe - Yes the eyes are felted in. They are completely made of wool.

Millie - The stripes are also felted of wool. I felted them of a chocolate brown alpaca wool.

Thank you Tinesteddys!! Several years ago when I first started I used to use actual false eyelashes. My work for the last several years all the eyelashes are wool.
