Like Sandi I am also diving into the Ebay waters, although I seem to be sinking fast. I added this one earlier on- - not what I would normally do- sent my son a picture and his reply back was "What was that" mmm very encouraging, so if any water wings about please send my way.

Thanks.
This week work all starts as the holidays are over and I must start preparing for Huggletts. I tired cutting out over the week-end but with my wriggle monster grandson around I now know why I gave up sewing when my son was 18 months old.
You girls with young babies, I admire you

I finally gave my self the time to have a look through Showcase. I saw him on ebay. How did he do?
I'm curious about the eyes you used Lynette?
Wendy
Wendy , they are doll eyes and used in making porcelain dolls. I am not sure how they work with the dolls, I took two pairs from my friend's shop to play around with. With "Eish" it was also a matter of just experimenting. I know that you can get eyes from a taxidermist supplier and have often seen these used, which are realistic. Again not sure what the correct way is of fitting them- I used a strong glue with the doll eyes.
Eish is still up on Ebay as I am away over the week-end and used a 10 day option to end when I am back home.
Ebay and myself are not exactly on good terms as far as selling somehow it seems to be very effective at taking my money
Lynette
Well, I think that this teddy has a great personality and a wonderful face.
Good luck on ebay. Don't let ebay get you down...I think that this is a slow time to be posting on ebay.
New to ebay? I don't think that selling on ebay is any different than selling at "real" shows as far as building up recognition is concerned. It took me several months of doing Teddy Bear Shows before collectors started to come looking for me...and it was the same with eBay. I sold on eBay for several months before I felt like I was "established" with the regular ebay collectors. I think that the key to being successful at anything is persistence.
When I first started doing ebay I didn't expect to sell anything...I just thought of my listings as advertising and another way to lead more people to my website (through my ME page or Google). Hang in there.
Hugs~
Kathy
Thanks Kathy,
Eish did SELL, and I am delighted. I might even have had more bidding, but was not able to answer questions as we were away for the week-end and unfortunately could not connect to any internet site for updates.
