Did anyone notice this display pictured and written about in the latest Teddy Bear and Friends (March/April) ?   It is a wonderful article about ways of sharing the bear world with our local communities.  Thanks, Mindy

OH Janet you must be commended. I am blown over with the amount of work you put into your display. Only someone with true teddy passion could have been this successful.
I wish I was there so I could do all that reading. I especially love your teddybear christmas tree.

That goes for me too : you really did a FANTASTIC JOB, Janet.  You can tell that you put a lot of time and effort in the display.  bear_thumb
Your display would certainly not be out of a place in a toy museum.

WELL DONE !

Thank you so much for the rivived interest in my display and I was so surprised to see it again.

What was really neat was that I was asked to repeat it again for the month of Dec. 2009 and it was a wonderful place to put it all while I packed up my house for a move.  I added another shelf to make some changes.  This shelf was devoted to the history of Teddy Bears in literature and I incorporated many books from the library  including Winnie the Pooh, Paddington, examples of The Three Bears  and others.  I had a couple of bears to go with these books.  Wish I had taken a photo of this one too but circunstances at the time prevented me doing this.

I am now living in Breckenridge , CO and I am investigating the libraries in this area .  I hope to redo this display or parts of it in yet another library.      Janet
