Hello
Need some help with postage. I normally sent international via Australian post airmail. and registered for Australians. But I am not happy with the service at the moment. I sent a whole heap of bears on the same day to USA, Austria, and within Australia. The one in Austria arrived before the one in australia. The aus one arrived damaged box and had been opened. It was Registered. The ones in the US still have not arrived and have been over 2 weeks. All insured. I am really not happy. Is there any other way of sending them? Does anyone know? I am thinking of looking into a courier service, but is there one for international
I use DHL...they are reasonably priced and very good..they are worldwide too!
Thanks Jenny. i will have a look into them, As I have seen them around. I don't want the cost to be to high as my bears don't sell for hundreds but I do want the security and the quickness. Thanks again
Hi Peta, I hear you, sounds like you have just had a bad trot. Hang in there, that would make me nervous and angry too.
You could try - DHL, UPS and Fedex, you will pay more for these services. We use alot of these for our business international couriers at work. All recommended.
I also see that Express Post also have an International service as well, I cannot recommend it as I have never tried it.
I have always been successful with Registered/Insured postage and Express Post for local Aust mail. You could also try TNT Air for local courier as well. Australian AirExpress also had a good service within Australia.
I have always used Registered and Insured Airmail as well for International postage and never had any issues.
Good luck.
Thanks Karen for your advise. I will look into all your options. I have never had a problem before, Just with this lot. Its strange how its only this lot that was sent on the same day.
Sounds like the issue could even be with the post office or the main postal centre in that area. Have you contacted them to discuss it Peta, you never know other people may have had the same problem as well.
