Could anyone tell me do you have to wet coconut fiber like you do with wood wool because i have a bag of coconut fiber but didn't know if you have to wet it  fran :clap:

So the other postings were serious it really is coconut fibre and not just something named that?

I would guess that if it's very stiff and non-pliable...like wood-wool...you should try dampening it...see what happens.

Is'nt coconut fibre the stuff they make those hanging baskets out of. ???Well the basket is metal, but the lining is coconut fibre ????...... The birdies nick it for their nests.........any bear stuffed with it would be a sitting duck. Would'nt wanna leave him in the garden........ :twisted:
