Here's a new pattern I'm working on...this was my very first attempt at eyelids (thank you Shelli). He's made out of some mini plush fabrics I bought from Sassy Bear. It wasn't at all what I had expected when I got it but it was fun and reminds me of the Hershey Hugs now that I have him done. He measures approximatley 8 inches tall...6 inches seated. The rest is the usual...
So...say hello to Hugs...and go get yourself some chocolate on me!!!

PS...I should mention that he was a practice bear too. I tried some more needlesculpting in his eye area and muzzle...as well as some scissor sculpting around his nose and mouth.
A sweetie pie, Shantell! Well done!
Shantell, he has cute big sparkling eyes and
I think the eyelids are perfect !!
Great work.

thanks for posting the pics - I was wondering what that fabric looked like just today!!
very cute...keep meaning to say that I love your new avatar bear as well - so fabulously girly!!
now I need an international translation...what's a Hershey's hug?...we haven't got those here yet
What a cutie! I just love that mohair!
Many Hugs Louise
Shantell, he's very pretty! (handsome! LOL)

Good job. It's nice to see you work so hard on your own patterns. It's tough eh??
You're doing great though,
Heather
He is very cute! the eyes turned out good!
Thanks...he was kinda fun and frustrating at the same time. I love the whole process of drawing up the pattern, and then making little changes...which is where I am with this little guy. His eyes were fun and not as hard and I thought they would be so I'm ready to try it on a bigger mohair bear...wish me luck Still trying to figure out how to do all that needlesculpting with only two hands. Anyone got an extra set they could loan me?
So...this little bruin will sit on the shelf in my "hall of higher learning area"... HA HA
Love to you...
