Hi everyone, I'm wanting to make some little mini black and white or dark brown and white ponies and was wondering if anyone knows of mini fabric in this pony effect?!!  I know strange request, but havn't been able to find any yet and hoped some of you may have seen some

Hi Catherine,

The only fabric I have seen that is like you describe is at http://www.threadteds.com/ You will need to click on Shop, then Fabrics and scroll down towards the bottom it is called Micro Fiber Spot.

There may be others but I haven't come across them recently.

I have some ultrasuede I got at Field's Fabrics.  You can get it online here http://www.fieldsfabrics.com/ultra/printlist.htm
I made a pony with it, here's what it looked like.

Edinburgh Imports sells some mini print fabrics. I'm not sure what "skin" prints they have. If you look in their catalog they have a mini fabric section. Their fabrics are wonderful to work with.

You could maybe use a solid color and paint on the spots.
