Well today I was on my treadmill when my daughter came over and said that there was a burning rubber smell in the house. And as I know I don't run fast enough to burn rubber :crackup: :crackup: I investigated and it was my treadmills motor overheating!!! Guess its time for a new one UGH
Then I was getting ready to paint my bathroom and had the TV on whilst I was stripping the border off the top (NEVER AGAIN WILL I INVEST IN WALLPAPER OF ANY KIND 
) and I took a rest and was going to watch a little TV - Well our TV isn't working it goes to a blue screen and then shuts itself off. I thought I was wacko as first but now it won't stay on for any longer then 10 seconds!! I've just phoned 3 repairs shops who told me that they figure the picture tube is gone and its not worth fixing UGH UGH Its only 6 years old and there not even making parts for it anymore.
When I asked the guy what to do he said throw it away!! What a throw away society we live in. At least my treadmill is older then the TV!!!
So guess what I'm shopping for this weekend as well as painting my bathroom! I know things always come the 3s so I'm waiting!!
FenBeary FolkOh Mo, I was struck by the same thing, we do live in a throw away society, our tv went last year just out of warrenty, only 2 years old, an excuse for a new very large flat one (with insurance cover??!!)

It's the worst when things break that you depend on, and that are expensive and even take research to replace in an intelligent way. It seems like such an UPHEAVAL, doesn't it? I feel for you; there's so much other stuff that needs attending.
Maybe you really should take it as a sign from above that it's time for a giant plasma screen HDTV...??... and maybe to take a week OFF exercising, too.
Now where's that chocolate..???
