Actually, Kris Kristoferson wrote Me and Bobby Magee so his is the original. Janis's version was great though!

Harry Chapin....... Circles I think is the name of it.
His most or one of his most popular songs was "Cats in the Craddle"... its the one most everyone knows anyway!

I love Harry Chapin. His were among some of the first songs I learned on my guitar.... after the classic "Stairwary to Heaven" of course! Don't think I could play a single chord now, it's been so long!
