Has anyone found out the results of the comp of the Sydney Show. How was the show and are there any PICS
Umm I don't remember the results, and I hate to say but I didn't even get to see the competition bears! I know Kim Russel's name was mentioned. As for photos, I took my camera and didn't even get any pics of my own table lol...
I enjoyed the show and it was very worthwhile attending for me, lots of real collectors there to buy who soon were loaded down with lots of bags! We were also treated to a wonderful Sydney thunderstorm, lightning knocked out the ceiling lighting so we had a semi blackout for a bit til Mel got it fixed- thank goodness there was lots of natural light and some lights on the walls that was unaffected. Was a bit of a talking point tho and I think just about everyone there thought it was pretty amusing (well maybe Melissa thought differently lol)
I realised after the show I didn't get to see Louise's bears , but I was right opposite to Patsy and backing onto Carolyn who came over from NZ so we got to chat a bit. Lisa had some neat looking things on her table but by the time I had a chance to get out again on Sunday afternoon the things I had my eye on were gone!
Once people had spent all their money they still stayed around to chat, so I wasn't able to get out and about very much- which is good and bad hehe.
Melissa did a great job, she was racing around all weekend, she must be exhausted today! I know I am, and I am already looking forward to the show next year;)
I cannot wait to know how my bears did as well as the other ones from the other artists from the international trader table.
Melissa e-mailed us telling she would put details about the show etc on her website by the end of the day. So i guess we just have to be more patient, hehehehehehe.
Melissa said she was very happy about that show and that she already had a great feedback from visitors.
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
Melissa has a post about the show in the "Show and Travel" section. Looks like it was a huge success!
