DoodlebearsMy son David was in New York last week and took this picture. Looks like they want New Yorkers to be misserable. 
I found it quite amusing.
Here another couple showing David at the top of the Empire State building and passing the Statue of Liberty on a boat.
David went to New York with some friends for uni. They saw three show including Young Frankenstein, which David had wanted to see ever since it opened on Broadway. The walked miles through Central Park, visited museums, had a ride in a rickshaw tried loads of different cuisines and visited many other of New Yorks amazing venues. They also visited ground zero, but David said he wouldn't go again as it was too depressing. David said he can't wait to go back to New York as there are still so many places he wanted to see and thing he wants to do there. Looks like my son will have to start saving all over again!

Bumpkin BearsLooks like he had a fabulous trip Jane, I visited NY a few years ago for the first time, it is such a vast city and so much greenery too which I loved.
