Samantha's special 'Teddy Bear Artist Event' show takes place on June 8th at Stratford Upon Avon in the UK, home of William Shakespeare. It promises to be a very special event indeed as the emphasis is totally focused on bear art and bear artists. A good number of TT'ers are currently beavering away making special bears for this special event, which is to be held in aid of the 'British Heart Foundation' and we are all very excited about our brand new UK show!
As usual, I am running behind schedule, but I have managed to complete this pretty lady bear. Loretta is a substantial 20" bear made from Intercal's lovely 370s/c in 'beige' ... as you can see, it's a very pretty, almost peachy colour. She wears a vintage crocheted collar which I have tea-dyed to complement her mohair. Loretta will be available at the show and hopefully in four weeks time, will have several brothers and sisters to join her!

She's gorgeous Paula....can't wait to see her in the fur at the show! When I caught up with you at Hugglets you only had one bear left.....so at least this time I'll see them all before it opens....and they quickly dissapear!
I had a trial run of spreading my bears around my table....big mistake.....thought I'd made loads....but they're so small I need lots more!......will post some preview pics soon...
