hi! Denise...I really dont know, I was thinking about 12-15" Just a nice easy one to start with but would need all inclusive with fur etc.. as i will be starting from scratch...but i am willing...maybe you have some suggestions??
I do like the old fashioned look with short fur and hump!!!and maybe jointed...but am i getting too adventurous???Do you sew by hand or machine???Sorry does that sound dumb??
hope to hear from you soon  bear_flower

How about Edenburgh Imports, go online, I am not sure if they ship to your home out of the usa, but give it a try.  Or just go online and put in bear kits and see what happens.

Kaz, we have an excellent bear shop in Melbourne, Bear Essence. They have HEAPS of kits, and do lots of mail order. Kim Josey and Heather would be able to help you pick something out over the phone and they also have a website http://www.bearessence.com.au
You could also try Teddys Bits/Philips in Sydney
(Yes I am affiliated in a way lol specially with Bear Essence as I teach there sometimes,  but I also like to support our bear supply places here)
