IMG_0230.JPGIMG_0231.JPGWell, I have just completed my first commission, some of you may recall I tried a 4 inch bear that was eventually pinched by my daughter, never again bear_grin

Well I went a little bigger at 6 inches and he was sold before he had his ears on, the lovely lady called Jane decided that he needed a friends and this is the result, she has no name yet but is 6 inches as well, I have found this size quite comfortable so maybe I will go a little smaller.

Hope you all like her, I knitted the cardi as well bear_thumb

She is really sweet Sue-I love her knitted cardigan bear_wub  bear_wub  bear_wub
I never used to go smaller than about 12 inches and then I started to try a bit smaller and am down to 4 inches but the temptation is still there to go a bit smaller again-its an addiction I think bear_grin

You have done a great job with this little one Sue, she has a real personality.  Great that you have sold her already.

She is a sweetie Sue. She looks cozy in that pretty cardigan. I'm glad she has a good home with her new mom!

Thank you Pauline and Lynnette, I like to knit and that size is perfect, it is knited on bamboo cable needles with ordinary DK and is such a joy to do

Pauline I have just picked up my second commission, a bear for my mums German RAF school reunion group, its for the raffle at the schools main event in Cardiff next year and will be my biggest to date at around 18 inches bear_grin

She is lovely, Sue - and only 6 inches??  I thought she was a bigger bear until I read your post.  You did a great job - minis and smalls clearly suit you!

Christine
