I just wanted to let everyone know that I won't be online for several days. I am having surgery tomorrow and it may be a little while before I am able to get to the computer depending on how the surgery goes.

Looking forward to seeing all the new creations when I get back online.

Hi Everyone,

This is my first opportunity to get online and I wanted to thank everyone for your well wishes and let you know that I am home and recuperating. The surgery went very well and it was a good thing I had it done. The doctor did a laproscopic hysterectomy thinking she was just going to remove one ovary. When she got in there she found lots of fibroids and endometriosis so she did a complete hysterectomy. No wonder I wasn't feeling very well.

I am doing fine and not in much pain which is good. The funny thing is the doctor's office just called to check on me and they were amazed that I hadn't taken any of the pain medication. I am one of those people that unless the pain is unbearable I am able to control it and don't need to take the medication.

The only problem is I am only allowed to lift 5 lbs and my laptop weighs 9 lbs so unless I can convince my husband I really need to go online he won't let me. OMG how am I gonna get my TT fix.  :crackup:  :crackup:  :crackup:

Do not lift if the doctor said not to, you will be sorry later.

Nice to hear everything went Ok for you Gijzette. Wow you got the full works didn't you. Do take it easy and make the most of getting your husband to help you out. I hope you soon feel 100% again.

Glad you are on the road to recovery.  My daughter had the same problem a couple of years ago and they did the same thing as with you.  Try not to lift anything and let hubby do everything for you.

Glad it's all over and you're doing so well. Take advantage of not being able to lift, do housework, vacuum, etc., while you have the chance.
