May I be a bit nosey and ask why she has writing on her? Is this a way of identification in the hospital? I've just never seen that before.

Yes, Marlys, it's an identification. There was an affair in our country about a year ago -- they switched two babies in a hospital and the parents found out after nearly a year (and they switched the babies back!). So now they have three ways of identification -- number on one hand, wristlet with name on the other hand and a name written on a leg.

That is interesting how they are now marking all the babies to be sure they will never mix up another baby - what a terrible thing that would be to happen!

I thought identification might be the reason. There have been such cases of baby mix-up here in the states, too. I can't imagine how awful that would be.
