On my last trip to the beauty salon, I bought some "extra-body sculpting foam." Intended for my hair, of course--but mohair is made of hair. Would hair sculpting foam have any effect on mohair, I wonder? Just a thought.
I am not sure about a foam, I have purchased a "no tangle" hair conditioner for the mohair felted onto the reborn dolls. This untangles the mohair leaving it soft which then can be styled.
I am working on some needle felted bear muzzles and I am trying it to see what happens.
Water does felt fleece as does needle felting so it will be interesting to see how it works.

Lynette, thanks for the feedback. I will try the "extra-body sculpting foam" on a scrap piece of mohair and report on the results.
I would think most "human" hair products would work on mohair. I use spray gel on my bears as a final touch,
but I do stay away from products that contain alcohol.
I use sculpting foam all the time on longer mohair bears to help tame the hair .. works fine. Anything I'd put on my own hair is fair game as far as I'm concerned.

The sculpting foam straightened the fur (hair) and made it go in one direction. It was a worthwhile experiment and something that I can use on longer mohairs in the future.
