Hi everyone
sorry I haven't been posting for a while........STRESSED out here! For the past 5 weeks our neighbours have been doing renovation/building and garden landscaping work, all using incredibly noisy machinery........... I think I'm now well qualified to write a thesis on "The use of incessant and ear-splitting noise as a method of torture"............and it's probably just as well i don't have access to a machine gun............
But last week, I got a mail from the TWTBA, to ask if I'd like an online personal gallery...........ask? Of course I would................ And on Tuesday I was totally bowled over when another mail announced that the page was loaded, and that I am the FIRSt artist to be featured here - an incredible honour!
Funny how when you are feeling down, and even fed up with making bears - along comes such a wonderful boost..........

Sorry that you have been stressed out with your neighbours doing renovations - can be hard as our next door have been doing the same and
you can hear saws and banging, so I know what it is like.

and CAROLYN - hammers and saws don't enter into it - they are using power drills, a mechanical digger, a "thingy" (whatever they are called) for tamping down ground, AND a circular saw for cutting slabs of rock for garden walls and paving - and believe me when they are all going simultaneously, it is HORRENDOUS..........going outside is almost like walking into a very painful physical barrier!

5 weeks is a long time, to have to put up with that racket.
I really hope that they will be finshed soon Maria, so you can go back to peace and quiet.
Have you got head phones that you could listen to some nice music and block out the noise?

Hi ladies, and my thanks again...........it's been a terrific boost, especially with hugglets coming up. No matter how many shows I do, I always "lose it" beforehand........
But I am so looking forward to meeting everyone, and catching up with old friends.
Looks like a fairly peaceful day, Carolyn - it is POURING with rain!
And Marilyn - don't you DARE say your bears are boring.............they are really LOVELY! You better go and apologise to them all............

But there is still no sign of an end to the noise............fortunately, Nounours seems totally unperturbed (made of sterner stuff than me ..........or is it just extreme laziness?!)..........but our poor little Fuchsia cat is really going thru' hell - she positively HATES any loud noises, especially thunder. We always know if there is a storm brewing as she comes running in GROWLING, and hides under a table.
