I was going to post this in bear hugs, as I had promised, but I thought some of you could miss it and boy it would be a shame to do so, as it is really yummy.

ENJOY

Flourless brownies

175g 70% cocoa solid chocolate
90g butter
2 tbsp cpffee
3 large eggs
220g granulated sugar
1/2 tsp vanila
125g ground almonds
1/2 tsp baking powder

1. Preheat the oven to 160C. Butter and line a 20cm tin.
2. Melt the chocolate and butter. Stir in the coffee.
3. Whisk the eggs and sugar until pale and creamy. Stir into the chocolate mix. Add the almonds and baking powder and stir until combined.
4. Bake for 35 minutes.

Thanks Jane.  I will play around with this recipe. I try very hard not to use butter and sugar but to use their substitutes where ever possible.  This is the perfect recipe for that.

Thank you very much Jane.  My 15 year old niece has just been tested for this and other diseases.  We have not yet heard the results, but they did mention the idea that she may have to go gluten free.
