Hi Everyone

I have been absolutely manic at work recently, the ups and downs of life getting in the way as usual and have been neglecting TT due to lack of time to log on, sit down with a nice cup of tea and catch up with all of the bear news from everyone.

Finally I have stolen 30 minutes at work to sneakily log on and view the latest posts, and Tamii, I have to say I adore your 'Cute pic of the day' it really makes my day and makes me smile.

I am so excited and just wanted to share my latest news....I am incredibly honoured this month to have an artist feature about Boogaloo Bears in Teddy Bear Club International (August edition) and hope to resume selling on eBay soon (I have been a little busy with a couple of orders for friends). It is fantastic that the magazine is featuring lots more bear artist articles and display the results of all of our hard work bear making.

Anyway, back to work I suppose

Wow... how spooky indeed Ali!!

I hope that you are still producing your fantastic creations and all is well with you.

I should hopefully be putting my latest creation 'Mr Station Master' bear on eBay at the weekend, so I will post a photo on TT. It is great to receive feedback on what people find appealing in a bear, and where improvements may be made.

I understand that a lot of bear artists are not faring well on eBay recently with the credit crunch so I won't hold my breath!!

Yes, I'm slowly beavering away at the bears, I've just started bear number 11 and I started making bears 16 months ago    bear_grin  I'm making a rabbit for my youngest and the fur is flying everywhere!

I'm looking forward to seeing your new bear (name sounds exciting) and will keep fingers crossed that you have a good auction.

It is definately quieter on Ebay at the mo, I have watched a few that I would love, but haven't got the pennies for  bear_cry  they are going for alot cheaper than what they were doing a few months ago.    Wished I had saved up for a rainy day now (specially with all the wet weather we're having here in the UK  bear_grin )

You sound very busy, you will have to put a photo on of bear number 11 on this site once completed, I can't wait to see it. bear_original

I have only made one rabbit in the past but currently have a big, fluffy one sitting on the side that I started ages ago and have lost momentum for - I suppose one day I will start again with it, but I don't get the same buzz about rabbits as I do the bears - good luck with your bunny.

I have a vision of you sewing away, fur flying everywhere -it's funny how far fur can travel, I sometimes transport some into the bedroom and the other evening, our dinner (the problems of multi tasking!).
As for eBay, well I think everyone is struggling a bit financially. There was a beautiful Conradi bear the other week on eBay that I desperately wanted and although it was sold for a reasonable price, it was out of my current budget so had to watch him go to another home  bear_sad
