Posts: 3,540I didn't read the thread regarding puffy cheeks, but will simply say: Practice, Practice, Practice!!! 
Each fur and synthetics and mohair will all act differently when scissored. If you have scraps that you can practice on, so much the better. The more you practice with each different type of fur, the more confident you become.
