thank you Sue Ann and Sarah, i was almost happy  that it's not the way she is and they actually found a reason for it, if that makes any sense. other than that I couldn't of asked for a better puppy bear_original  She already knows how to sit and lay down bear_thumb  bear_thumb

Poor Dakota but you're right at least there was a reason and that it can be fixed.  Are you trying the bell training and if so hows that going???

yes hopefully will be better trained soon, haven't tried bell yet but I think I will put bell up today. It's kind of hard to because all she wants to do is stay outside. She'll stay outside for hours and doesn't want in so I think I'll have to make her come inside just to see if we have made any progress bear_original

Well - at least you know why she was making so many puddles - poor little girl! Like Ellen, I've never heard of such a young pup with a bladder infection...........hopefully, she'll be fighting fit again soon, and your problems will get LESS...........

On several sites I read that it is common with bladder infection in young puppies and on some other sites it says it's not common and the vet never really said much but this is her third full day of treatment and she is much better bear_thumb but I also blocked the living room area off and she is allowed in the kitchen way more than where the rug is. I'm also thinking with her being sick that's why she was so mellow and now with her feeling better she's a handful!! bear_shocked  bear_happy She has been swatted by the cats more times than I can count but she persists but I know  this phase will pass bear_original
