I'm leaving on a trip to the UK not just to look for bear shops, actually for work purposes. 

I leave on Saturday I will be in Shrivenham and Warminster - are there any shops in these areas???

Hi Brenda,

Yes I agree I'am quite lucky as I don't have to pay for a thing because its a business trip although Mon & Tues I'm in meetings and the rest of the week I'm taking 4 courses! 

I do hope that if there is a bear shop or bear supply shop in the area that I have time to browse and of course spend a little of my money!!

Hi Jane,

I'm not familiar with those areas, but I can recommend you get hold of a copy of the 'UK Teddy Bear Guide' which lists all such bear related businesses.  You can contact the Hugglets Team, Glen and Irene Jackman, who produce the guide at:

The guide is available in online form as well as hard copy.  It's a great book!  The 2009 issue will be published towards the end of the month, but in the meantime, the 2008 guide is still available.
